ID Trakamark Security Plates

More than just a security plate - this is the ultimate security and asset plate to protect IT Equipment, Projectors, Mobile Phones, Instruments and so on. The TRAKAMARK Security Plate is not a printed label, it is 0.5mm thick strong aluminium plate with industrial strength adhesive.

A Theft Deterrent and Aid to Recovery

Plates are printed with a warning that the equipment is traceable by the police. Each plate has a unique ID registration number/bar code (plus the database Freephone number and email address). Once registered, it will greatly aid recovery if the equipment is stolen or perhaps left behind in a taxi, train or hotel. Only a few lost items are ever returned because their owners cannot be traced!

Your unique ID number is entered into the secure KODIT database along with your contact details.

Make life difficult for thieves

If your property is found it can easily be traced back to you, the plates also helps prove legal ownership. If your property is stolen and offered for sale, any purchaser can check with the database whether the equipment has been reported stolen, thus reducing the resale value to virtually nothing!

The ultra strong 3M industrial adhesive used for fixing makes it near impossible to remove plates without causing damage to the equipment. (Will only adhere to FLAT surfaces).

Plates can be customised to include your own text, company name and logo and number sequence. Minimum order of 500.

Asset Register

Not only is your equipment safely marked to help deter theft. Your registration of the unique asset number on the KODIT Database will also give you a permanent record of your property in case of theft, fire or other circumstances. Some insurance companies now require proof of ownership before settling claims. The bar code can also be used to automatically track all assets.

KODIT Database

All data is totally secure on the KODIT database, which is accredited by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), Certificate 379a, to LPS 1224: issue 2. The database is available 24 hours a day to Police only. You will receive confirmation of your registration within 2 weeks. There are no further charges or annual fees to pay. No data will be released to any other parties.
